Puzzlement

I don't know why;
I bother trying?

No one craves to know;
No one longs to try.

To assist to be perceived;
To be received.

Yet, there are those
that don't regard.

With false actions,
and mysterious ways.

Pretend watchfulness,
How can this be?

They profess to care.
They simulate they care.

Likewise with actions proved,
Their merit is manifested.
